The block was supposed to be ninety minutes of head-down. Instead the inbox got cleared, the dishwasher got loaded, and the actual hard thinking never happened. Two capsules forty minutes before the work — the kind of clean, calm focus that holds you in the chair without the coffee jitter that makes you stand back up.
“I take it before a 90-minute writing block. The first hour is the cleanest I've ever written.”

The formula
A quieter system

Sharpness
The hard hour — the writing block, the spreadsheet, the client deck — wants a kind of focused that coffee doesn't quite give. This is built for that hour.

Stamina
Most stimulants give you a sharp first hour and a foggy second. This holds the line — clean focus that doesn't drop off when the meeting goes long.

Calm
The L-theanine in here is the reason your colleague started taking it with their coffee — focus without the over-caffeinated edge you can hear in your own voice.

01
One capsule, twice a day, with water. No timing dance, no stimulant cycling.

02
Most people notice a steadier daytime baseline within 7–10 days — not a hit, a settling.

03
By week 3–4, the 3am wake-up softens. You’ll know it’s working when you stop noticing the time.

Alpha-GPC
“I ran a brain fog test like yours last year with that app. Tier 1 stuff boosted my working memory fast, but gains halved without nailing 7 hours of sleep first, because fatigue masks everything else. Now I always baseline rest.”Read the original
“Regarding coffee: don’t be afraid of decaf! For me it’s the psychological boost of the routine, the smell, the taste, the cozy warm drink. I never felt like regular coffee really gave me “energy” anyway. My husband won’t switch so we do half-caf but even that had noticeable effects on jitters/anxiety/attention.”Read the original
“Hello, I take alpha GPC in a product included in a supplement called Neuro Prime from ATP. This company is available in North America. Neuro Prime contains alpha GPC, l-thyrosine, and n-acetyl l-carnitine. I take three capsules in the morning and three at noon. That's 1200 mg total. However, this formula is 50%, so it's actually 600 mg. Check the formula to be sure of the actual mg. At 49, I've never taken medication for tda, but I think I have it a little, but with a healthy lifestyle, I'm functional. I must admit that Neuro Prime, with alpha GPC, does me a lot of good. I'm more patient with people, less stressed, and have good mental clarity. ATP's product is pharmaceutical grade. For me, the experience has been excellent!”Read the original
“I’m not sure I like [brand removed], his podcast has some useful info but he has be criticised for spreading misinformation, like the cold and flu episode. And the episode he did on nicotine got me hooked on vaping again, which is totally my fault and Im responsible for my own actions. But also, I think it is kinda irresponsible for him to glorify the effects of nicotine. Like, just coz he discourages people from smoking and vaping and instead recommends safer versions of nicotine does not negate the fact that many people who get hooked on nicotine will probably eventually end up vaping or smoking. A simple disclaimer doesn’t absolve him from glorifying an addictive substance.”Read the original
Rhodiola Rosea
“Gaia Herbs brand makes *Adrenal Health* in veggie capsules that contains Rhodiola, and Ashwaganda, and several other *adaptogenic herbs*. I am cycled off of it at the moment but typically take one in the morning and, like OP, feel unflappable and even upbeat. Highly recommend it! Edit: added the keyword *adaptogen*, as learned about in The Herb Quarterly. They basically help the body better process cortisol, the stress hormone. E2: The formulation is Adrenal Health. Easy to find online and in health food store, too.”Read the original
“OP didn't stack it with anything to get their results, but others might. It's just the unfortunate reality of nootropics that they affect people differently. I've seen people swear by certain ones and the comments are *always* a mix of people saying it did or didn't benefit them or had side effects.”Read the original
“I'm very single right now anyway so what I need is a mental boost, not a sexual one. It's a worthwhile tradeoff for me right now. Plus the kratom I take pretty much does that for me anyway”Read the original

Honest answers
Brain & Focus is the acute-focus formula — Alpha-GPC + Rhodiola for clarity in the moment. Cognitive Support is the long-arc baseline — bacopa + lion's mane for cumulative cognitive support over weeks. Many testers use both.
Alpha-GPC and Rhodiola can produce noticeable focus shifts within 60–90 minutes. The cumulative B-vitamin and adaptogen benefits build over 2–4 weeks.
No caffeine. The clarity comes from Alpha-GPC + Rhodiola + B-vitamins — not stimulants.
Yes. The L-theanine actually smooths the coffee experience.
Morning is the default. For acute focus needs, 30–60 minutes before the deep-work block is the sweet spot.
It shouldn't. The blend was calibrated with L-theanine specifically to avoid the edgy nootropic feel.
Yes — they pair well. Ashwagandha for steady cortisol baseline, Brain & Focus for the focused-work window.
We don't recommend Rhodiola during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Talk to your physician for safer alternatives.
